Fuel Protests

Well it appears only a few days after I wrote about nothing happening that our boys at the haulage companies have decided to make a stand today, both in London and in Cardif.

Haulage drivers in London went on a go slow and blocked off one of the main roads in to the capitol where as in cardif they tried to deliver a petition but were met by the police - why can't they just leave them alone? Anyway, they said if they didn't get their 25p per litre rebate they damanded from the government that next time they would block the refinaries off. The government have replied by saying they can't do anything as they have already held back on the 2p rise in petrol prices which they are going to bring in to force in October instead - that's a joke! They know what they can do with their 2p.

Good luck all you haulage drivers and remember you're fighting for the other motorists too.

Bring our fuel prices down - now!
