Why do football refs think they have it so bad?

I've just finished watching the Aberdeen vs Rangers games live on television and yet again another poor decision by yet another official. A minute from the end Rangers scored and the linesman flagged offside - he must have been watching a girl in the stand or something because the Rangers player was clearly onside, by probably 2 feet or more, and I can't even give the ref any credit because he should have overturned the linesmans decision and allowed the goal to stand. Rangers should have won 2-1 but only got a single point for the draw. Will Celtic beat Rangers to the title by just 2 points at the end of the season? Refs say they have it bad and keep asking why is everyone always on their backs, and there's a simple answer to that question and one that needs to be addressed, and quickly - BECAUSE WHEN IT COUNTS THEY ARE STILL SHIT!!!
